Just had to share the lovely comment made by my daughter this weekend.
Adam (my boyfriend) and I were talking about Morgan doing or not doing as she’s told and he mentions to me, “You know, our next door neighbor says that her son doesn’t listen to her either but when her boyfriend is over, her son listens to him.” (obviously this whole conversation stemmed from me commenting that Morgan doesn’t do as I ask, but when Adam steps in, she pays attention.). So I say, "Well, he’s big and scary, of course her son is going to do as he’s asked!" I jokingly add, “Maybe I just need to be scarier!!” Morgan pipes up, “That’s ok mom, you’re scary enough already.”
